Winter Wired '09, a big success!

We would like to thank all the people who made it through the heavy snow storm to BINK 36 last saturday. The festival was a big success and completely sold out! We'd also like to thank the artists, volunteers and everyone else who made Winter Wired '09 happen.

Saturday December 19th: Winter Wired '09 @ Bink36

We're glad to announce the second, special winter, edition of the Wired festival namely Winter Wired '09. We've picked the Bink36, formerly known as the KPN building, as venue as it offers an unique industrial environment with acres of space.


The festival will feature exhibitions of new media artists Tijmen Zonnevijlle, Andrea Reyes & Marcus Graf, Daan Brinkmann, Joris Strijbos & Daan Johan, Merlijn van Eijk amongst others. These artists will be showcasing their work at the Interactive Playground. The art program also offers Live Cinema performances by Macular and Martijn van Boven and a very special fashion surprise 'live expo' The Gift by Studio Rouge, "One surprise, Six designers". Which contains works by Dorrith de Roode & Marlous de Roode, Layla Kühnen, Lidewij Corstiaans, Louisiana and Annemarije van Harten.

Apart from the art program there is also a very fine selection of bands and DJ's. There will be live performances by Lola Kite, zZz, Nobody Beats The Drum, Topless, Milligram Retreat, YobKiss and Bombay Show Pig. Next to the live bands the following DJ's will be playing; Narain Ashad, Monsieur Noir, Boehmer, Mr Lowman, Megatronick, Jan Aafoe & Roman Holiday, Wolf! Where? and Le Source.
